Actuarial Science Specialist (Science Program)

Actuarial Science Specialist is a 4-year, 13.0-credit Honours Bachelor of Science program at the University of Toronto's Faculty of Arts & Science (St. George campus), preparing students for professional work as actuaries and in financial risk management. Completion of MAT130H1/MAT135H1 and MAT136H1 (73% average), OR MAT148H1 and MAT149H1 (63% average), OR MAT137Y1 (63% average), OR MAT158H1 and MAT159H1 (60% average), OR MAT157Y1 (60% average). (Mathematics pathway requirement to enter the Actuarial Science Specialist program after first year; alternative course combinations, minimum grade varies by combination.)
ACT240H1, ACT245H1, and ACT247H1 completed with a minimum 63% average. (Actuarial course requirement for program enrolment (Limited Enrolment Program).)
Completion of a minimum of 4.0 credits before applying to enter the Specialist program.
Actuarial Science Specialist is a Limited Enrolment Program; meeting minimum requirements does not guarantee admission as space is limited and admission is competitive.
