A four-year, 120 credit-hour undergraduate degree (offered as BSc or BA) in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, Faculty of Science, that teaches students to analyze risk and uncertainty in financial contexts, blending mathematics, statistics, economics and computer science (calculus, linear algebra, probability, theory of interest, actuarial models, life contingencies, predictive analytics) and preparing graduates for Society of Actuaries (SOA) exams and careers as actuaries, risk analysts/consultants, or insurance underwriters. Program options include Honours, Combined Honours, Major, Double Major, Minor, and a Post-baccalaureate diploma.
